Kill me now

Gah. The radio station I listen to in the car just switched to all Christmas carols, all the time.

Oh, that makes me so crazy! My car is stocked with CDs - thank God for my CD player!

Wow, that really snuck up on me too. I was so focused on the election for so long that I kinda forgot about Christmas being next month.

Years ago I managed a record store. I remember the last year I was there they had us put up the Christmas music display the third week of September!

Thank God for satellite radio and my I-Pod!

I think we need a new holiday around January 3. All retail and service employees get the day off, and nobody is allowed to ask them for anything all day.

Since most of them have to work on Labor Day, it seems only fair.

My very civilized jazz station does not allow Christmas music until the week before -- and then it's likely to be Miles Davis' Blue Xmas: To Whom It May Concern

The American Family Association and Fox News have everyone bullied. They were trashing Home Depot for not having any Christmas advertising well before Halloween.

I've already begun to hear from people who lament that we can't say "Merry Christmas" any more - as though any of this crap were real.

Radio in the car? Can't hear it in mine - not above the 400 hp roar and the screams of the passengers. . .

The stupidest war of the wingnuts is the war on Christmas. As if. And LOL on the car. Someday I want to take a ride with you. Sounds exciting...
